2020 Ford Fusion
In need of a midsize sedan? If so, the Ford Fusion might be a good option. Clocking in at 34 miles to the gallon on the highway and 23 miles to the gallon in the city, it's about as efficient as a midsize sedan gets.
Power-wise, the Fusion fluctuates between 175 horsepower and 245 horsepower. Your exact horsepower will depend on the engine you select. Therefore, whether you're looking for a laid-back commuter car or a revved-up racer, it will accommodate you.
The interior of the Fusion is quite spacious, comfortably seating up to 5. Offering ample trunk space, it's great for family road trips.
This vehicle starts at $23,710. Compared to other cars in its class, that's an absolute steal.
2020 Ford Mustang
Next up is the Ford Mustang, a classic ford vehicle with a great deal of history behind it. The 2020 model is not only aesthetically pleasing but fuel-efficient as well. It gets 32 miles to the gallon on the highway and 21 miles to the gallon in the city.
As you might imagine, the Mustang is a powerful car. Its base model provides up to 310 horsepower, while its top model provides up to 480 horsepower. This is exceptionally powerful for a vehicle with such great fuel efficiency.
The Mustang's interior offers plenty of space, both for storage and passengers. As such, it could reasonably be used as a long-distance car.
It's a reasonably priced vehicle when compared to others of its kind. It starts at just $26,670
2020 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid
Looking to buy a fuel-efficient SUV? If so, you have to consider the Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid. Getting 37 miles to the gallon on the highway and 4 miles to the gallon in the city, it's one of the most efficient SUVs in existence.
Powered partially by electricity, it can reach up to 200 horsepower. For a compact SUV, this is more than respectable.
It seats just 5 individuals but offers plenty of legroom and cargo space. As such, it's a good option for long trips.
The downside to the Hybrid? Truthfully, there isn't one. Even its price is reasonable, coming in at $33,550 MSRP.
2020 Ford F-150 Super Cab
Perhaps you're on the market for a pickup? If so, the 2020 Ford F-150 Super Cab would be right up your alley. Getting 30 miles to the gallon on the highway and 22 miles to the gallon in the city, it offers a winning combination of power and fuel efficiency.
This truck has a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, allowing it to haul just about anything. Producing up to 325 horsepower, it offers ample acceleration in all types of conditions.
It sits up to 5, offering tons of legroom for all passengers. With an 8-foot truck bed, it can carry items both big and small.
The F-150 Super Cab is available for $32,580, an exceedingly reasonable price for a truck of its power, size, and fuel efficiency.
2020 Ford EcoSport
Interested in a non-hybrid SUV? If so, you might consider the EcoSport. A great deal cheaper than the Escape Hybrid, it offers 29 miles to the gallon on the highway and 27 miles to the gallon in the city.
Now, the EcoSport isn't the most powerful vehicle in existence. Its base model produces only 123 horsepower. However, it's powerful enough to get to where it's going, and, unless you're planning on hauling trailers, that's all you really need.
All of that said, it's a solid vehicle at a reasonable price. It starts at just $19,995, offering a great deal of bang for its buck.
2020 Ford Edge
A little bigger than the EcoSport and the Escape, the Ford Edge offers not only size but power and fuel efficiency as well. It gets 29 miles to the gallon on the highway and 21 miles to the gallon in the city.
Its base trim supplies 250 horsepower, a respectable figure for a vehicle of its size. If you opt for its top trim, you can reap the benefits of 335 horsepower. In either case, you're getting a vehicle that's punchy, and capable of towing substantial amounts of weight.
The Edge sits just 5. However, what it lacks in passenger seating, it makes up for in legroom and storage space. As such, it's a terrific long-haul driving option.
It starts at $31,100, with its top trim topping out at $43,265.
2020 Ford Expedition
While not typically regarded as a fuel-efficient vehicle, the 2020 Ford Expedition is actually quite reasonable for its size. It gets 23 miles to the gallon on the highway and 17 miles to the gallon in the city.
Power-wise, it's a monster, capable of towing up to 6,000 pounds at one time. It's assisted by its 3.5-liter V6 engine, which is capable of producing up to 400 horsepower.
The interior of the Expedition is about as roomy as vehicle interiors get. Not only can it sit between 7 and 8 people, but it also possesses absurd amounts of cargo space.
It starts at $52,810. But for a vehicle of its caliber, you couldn't expect to pay much less.
